Last of the Nobodies

About
Last of the Nobodies is a local music-based documentary project rooted in the belief that music can transform communities. Our aim is to capture the raw energy and diverse talent within Montana's hip hop scene, actively empowering artists and fostering a much-needed sense of community and unity statewide. We are committed to bridging the gap between rural, often overlooked artists, ensuring their powerful voices and unique stories are heard through both music and film.
This documentary and album stands as a testament to the incredible power of music emanating from every corner of our state, showcasing the wealth of untapped talent within our communities. The journey began with 24 Montana musicians converging for 10 days to create one collaborative album. Our simple intention was to unite local artists and craft a project that truly embodies the people of Montana. What we discovered was far more profound: the immense impact this collaboration had on each individual, creating a ripple effect of unity across the state. We learned that working together doesn't just spark unity; it amplifies our collective power. "Last of the Nobodies" transcends being just a film; it has evolved into a movement dedicated to providing resources and inspiration for all rural artists, proving that dreams can be pursued and achieved regardless of geographic location.
