Last of the Nobodies is a locally produced music project dedicated to illuminating and elevating Montana's vibrant hip hop community. Our mission is to capture the authentic essence of this scene, empower its artists, and cultivate a deeper sense of community and unity throughout our state. We actively work to bridge the divide between rural, often underrepresented artists and the broader urban music industry, providing an essential platform for them to express their stories and share their music.

This film is a direct reflection of music's profound power, particularly from the far corners of our state where talent thrives. The heart of our project centers on 24 Montana musicians who converged in Northwestern Montana for 10 intensive days, collaborating to create a single, unified album. Our initial aim was simple: foster unity within the local hip hop community and produce a project that authentically represents the spirit of Montana. What emerged, however, was an unexpected and profound impact on everyone involved, creating ripples of connection across the state. We quickly realized that by collaborating, we amplify each other's strength. "Last of the Nobodies" has become more than just a documentary; it's a movement to ensure all rural artists feel supported, resourced, and empowered to follow their passions, no matter where they call home.
